Growing In Unity~Day 1

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week!  Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Today is Day #1 and this is the card that I have made to share with you!
The stamp that I used is from the Every Day Be Happy set.  I colored it with markers to match the patterned papers and then cut around it by hand.  I embossed the panel of patterned papers behind the sentiment with a floral embossing folder for extra visual interest.  Both the stamped layers and the embossed layers are popped up with foam tape.  Some sequins and twine finished off the card.

GIVEAWAY:
The wonderful people at Unity Stamps are giving away 25 random stamps to two lucky people who comment on my GIU posts this week.  Be sure to leave a comment for each post this week (Monday through Friday) for the most chances to win!  I will post the winners on Sunday here on my blog.

I would love it if you would like my Facebook page, Beth's Beauties to stay updated on my creations!

Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderfully crafty day!

  40. I am getting in on your GIU week late, but am so glad I didn't miss out. This is such a wonderful card with so many interesting things to see and to love. Layered embossing is one of my favorite techniques.....looks great behind your awesome sentiment focal panel. Love your color combo choice and how you wrapped the twine. The black matting behind your layers adds great contrast, too. Fabulous work!
